URGO Burns and superficial wounds are ready to use and sterile tulle for the treatment of 1st-degree and 2nd-degree household burns and superficial wounds.
What is a burn?
It’s a tissue lesion often due to a contact more or less long with a source of heat.
The burn has different degrees of severity:
– 1 st degree : type of sunburn, quick contact with a flame. The lesion is bright red and
painful. Healing occurs spontaneously after 5 to 6 days.
– 2nd degree superficial: a blister appears. Healing occurs spontaneously after 10 days
– 2nd degree deep: the result of prolonged contact with a heat source (water, hot oil). The
epidermis is destroyed and needs medical care.
3rd degree: The skin is completely destroyed and requires care in hospitals
